Kayak
Kayaking
I pushed the heavy, long kayak into the freezing water. My group around me tried and tried again to get theirs into the water too. As my group continued to fail, I finally got my kayak into the water.
As I did, I lost my balance and slipped into the cold water, the strong current pushing me out into the river. So now my group were all in the strong and cold water.
In that horrible water I was trying to flip my kayak around so I could catch up with the rest of the group that was already was paddling down the river.
I slowly lifted my self on the kayak, still managing to hold onto my paddle, and I finally started paddling and trying to catch up with the rest of my group.
